Revelation 4:8 Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying: "Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come" (NIV).
There is a song that is called “Revelation Song” by Phillips, Craig and Dean that sings part of this verse within the song. And so, when I read this verse, it made me start singing that song. I ended up turning it on and found myself just worshipping Jesus, right in the middle of my living room. He is holy and deserves all our praise.
Praise His holy name – the Creator – the One who gives us breath and made our very being. God is our everything! We need Him in the morning, noon, afternoon, night and in between those times. The four creatures spend their entire time repeating this verse – they never stop and neither should we. It is Him who sustains our very being. The One who is always with us. The One who goes before us. The One who’s love is unfailing. It is because of Jesus those chains are broken, truth is spoken, that we can even spend time in His presence. He is almighty! He is holy – good and righteous!
Designate some time playing your favorite worship music, praising God, thanking God and reflecting on God’s holiness and where our help comes from. Think about the magnitude of prayers He is listening to and answering on a daily basis. We should feel blessed beyond measure to have Jesus as our Lord and Savior.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for being our everything! You are holy, Lord, and worthy of all our praise! In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
