You may be feeling weary as you continue to wait on a prayer to be answered, doubting your faith or even asking God the question, "Where are you?" thinking that He is not there with you. I want to encourage you today that God knows you and God does see you in this very moment.
Philip went to find Nathanael to tell him that they had found the one who Moses and the prophets had wrote about. Nathanael did not seem so sure that Jesus was the Messiah when Philip told him that, but Philip told him to come see. Then as he was approaching Jesus, Jesus started speaking to him. Then this verse happened!
John 1:48 "How do you know me?" Nathanael asked. Jesus answered, "I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you (NIV).
And Nathanael immediately believed He was the Son of God.
God knows everything about us, down to the very hairs on our head. He knows our deepest pain, our worries that bring the anxiety, the fears we are facing and where we are at in this very moment in our life. God sees you just like He saw Nathanael.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for loving us the way You do. May I always know that You are in the midst of what I am going through. In Jesus' Name I Pray, Amen.
